Australia win toss, bowl first, vs England

Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first in the third and final T20I against England at the Ageas Bowl.

With England holding an unassailable 2-0 series lead, the match is a dead rubber but not as we know it, with the old foes returning to battle with the No.1 T20 world ranking on the line. Top spot went temporarily to England after their six-wicket win in the second match on Sunday, but it can be claimed back by Australia if they secure a consolation win of sorts in this match.

The hosts have made some enforced changes with Jos Buttler being granted leave to see his family, having more than done his job in the previous two matches, and Eoin Morgan missing after previously playing with a dislocated finger suffered during play on Sunday.

Tom Banton will move up the order to open in Buttler's place, with Sam Billings coming into the line-up at No. 4 and Joe Denly at No. 6, and Moeen Ali acting as captain.

Australia have made three changes with Pat Cummins, David Warner and Alex Carey out, and Matthew Wade, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Marsh coming into their side. Wade is set to keep wicket for Australia for the first time in three years.

Play is set to start in overcast, humid conditions on the same pitch as was used for the previous two matches.

England: 1 Tom Banton, 2 Jonny Bairstow (wk), 3 Dawid Malan, 4 Sam Billings, 5 Moeen Ali (capt), 6 Joe Denly, 7 Tom Curran, 8 Chris Jordan, 9 Adil Rashid, 10 Jofra Archer, 11 Mark Wood

Australia: 1 Aaron Finch (capt), 2 Matthew Wade (wk), 3 Marcus Stoinis, 4 Steven Smith, 5 Glenn Maxwell, 6 Mitchell Marsh, 7 Ashton Agar, 8 Mitchell Starc, 9 Kane Richardson, 10 Adam Zampa, 11 Josh Hazlewood
