SAVAGE, Minn. – Liqui Moly has partnered with Unitronic and JDC-Miller Motorsports for a full season in the TCR class of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge next year.
“This shows that our oils and additives also deliver top performance in racing use,” said Sebastian Zelger, CEO of Liqui Moly USA & Canada.
Liqui Moly will be the official oil and additive supplier of Unitronic, an Audi and Volkswagen tuning expert, as well as the JDC-Miller team. The company will draw on its many years of experience in touring car sports with BMW, Audi and Volkswagen vehicles, among others.
“Thanks to our expertise with German imports, we help to get the last bit of power out of the engine and at the same time protect it from overload,” explained Zelger. “And what has proven its worth on the race track also performs well on the road in everyday life and increases the reliability of the engine.”
Unitronic specializes in performance software tuning and hardware upgrades of Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, and Lamborghini models.
“This background makes Unitronic a natural partner for us as a German brand,” noted Zelger. “Our oils carry the approvals that the Volkswagen Group stipulates for its models.” That’s why Unitronic will not only use Liqui Moly oils and additives at JDC-Miller Motorsports, but also in its own workshops for customers’ vehicles.
“We are very excited to have this new partnership program for 2021,” added Lenny Levac, Director of Sales Canada at Liqui Moly. “The partnership with Unitronic and JDC-Miller Motorsports allows us to share the experience we gain with our products on the race track with the workshops that work with Unitronic.”
