KNOXVILLE, Iowa – With the addition of a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event to Knoxville Raceway’s calendar, the renamed Corn Belt Clash non-winged sprint car event will go from a two-day event to a one-day show next year.
Originally, the two-day non-winged sprint car event featuring the USAC AMSOIL National Car Series and POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League was scheduled for July 9-10.
The Corn Belt Clash will be a one-day show on July 10, but will continue to boast a $20,000 top prize for the sole non-winged sprint car event at the historic half-mile dirt track. The track’s 410 winged sprint cars will also compete on July 10.
Originally known as the Corn Belt Nationals, the Corn Belt Clash debuted in 2019 and stands as the only non-winged sprint car event held each season at Knoxville Raceway. Brady Bacon is the defending two-time winner of the Corn Belt Clash.
