ATLANTA – The United Sprint Car Series has released the dates and venues for the 25th season of USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour action.
The schedule features 60 events, with a handful of races still to be announced.
Among the many highlights of USCS’ 25th anniversary tour will be the 25th Anniversary Celebration event at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., on April 23-24.
Those dates coincide with the NASCAR weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, located just across the street from the three-tenths-mile Talladega Short Track clay oval.
The event is significant to the United Sprint Car Series because the track hosted the first-ever USCS event on April 25, 1997, also during the spring NASCAR race weekend.
Other highlights include the USCS Winter Heat Series in February and March to kick the season off. The USCS Sprint Speedweek kicks off on May 28 with seven races in nine days.
The Firecracker Four on Independence Day weekend and the second annual Fall Brawl, a 10-race mini series that ends the season in October and November, are among other highlights for the upcoming USCS campaign.
