QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — Hard chargers in the modified and X-Mod divisions at the 15th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway, Jan. 9-17, will have extra cash on the line courtesy of North Dakota’s Schill Construction.
Each night, the driver, who advances the most positions in both the Mesilla Valley Transportation/Border Tire modified feature presented by Arizona Differential and the RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories X-Mod feature presented by Barnett Harley Davidson will receive $100, respectively.
The added money for each night’s feature has been posted by Lance Schill on behalf of his company, Schill Construction.
“I think it says a lot about the prestige of the Wild West Shootout that so many of the competitors who race with us also sponsor the event,” event promoter Chris Kearns said. “Lance [Schill] is a great example. He’s been racing with us for several years, and he’s sponsored different things over the past few years at the Wild West Shootout. However, for this year, he’s considerably increased his involvement.
“He’s now sponsoring both the X-Mod Best In Show contest as well as the nightly modified and X-Mod Hard Charger awards. I can’t thank him enough for his generosity.”
In addition to the Hard Charger awards, Schill Construction is sponsoring the RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories X-Mods presented by Barnett Harley Davidson Best In Show competition.
The X-Mod team, who is voted to have the best western-themed, graphic’s scheme will receive a $500 cash prize along with a $250 product certificate from The Joie of Seating. As an added incentive, the designing graphic’s company will receive a $250 cash prize.
Similar Best In Show contests are also posted for the super late model and modified ranks.
