GLENDORA, Calif. – NHRA officials announced Wednesday that Wabash Valley Dragway has signed on as the newest NHRA member track in the NHRA North Central Division.
Located in Terre Haute, Ind., Wabash Valley Dragway is overseen by Troy Mann. Mann and his team coordinate racing and facility operations at the track, first built in 1971.
“We are proud to be a racer’s race track,” said Mann, Wabash Valley Dragway’s race coordinator. “We are looking forward to working with NHRA and Division 3 to continue to serve our racers and community.”
Wabash Valley Dragway is gearing up for its 2021 schedule, which will include the Bernie Mann Memorial Race and the Midwest Junior Race in June.
The track will also host an NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League event, giving kids the opportunity to begin their drag racing careers as early as five years old.
Wabash Valley Dragway joins a group of over 120 NHRA member tracks worldwide.
As an NHRA-sanctioned track, the facility will be eligible to offer racers a variety of NHRA racing opportunities, including the NHRA Summit Racing Series, the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League and NHRA Jr. Street.
