TULSA, Okla. – Kyle Larson, who has won six of the last nine Tuesday preliminary features at the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals, tops the entry list for Warren CAT Qualifying Night once again.

The roster features 63 entries, up from 57 that drew in for Monday’s opening round.

Larson will chase a seventh prelim victory – and his second Golden Driller overall – behind the wheel of the MAVTV/JV1 Group No. 01 that he owns himself. The Elk Grove, Calif., native is set to return to NASCAR Cup Series competition in February full time with Hendrick Motorsports.

His father, Mike Larson, has been a co-entrant of the car in the past.

Aside from Larson, Thomas Meseraull is another early favorite after locking in with a strong finish during Tuesday’s program last year. The San Jose, Calif., veteran will wheel the No. 7x for RMS Racing.

Shane Golobic is back in the No. 17w for Matt Wood Racing, while Michael Faccinto returns to Tulsa Expo Raceway in the No. 08k for Dave Mac Motorsports one year after being pulled from the event.

All Star Circuit of Champions title favorite Cory Eliason is yet another Californian hoping to have Chili Bowl success. He’s back at the event for the first time since 2016, driving the Rudeen Racing No. 26.

Meanwhile, Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports rookie Daison Pursley will look to return Oklahoma to the winner’s circle at the Chili Bowl at just 16 years old, making his Chili Bowl debut this week.

Additional notables in the field include Carson Kvapil, the son of past NASCAR Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil; 360 sprint car ace Derek Hagar, piloting a homebuilt Shawn Wood machine; USAC regular Cole Bodine, in a Clauson Marshall Racing entry; Motor Racing Network and NBC Sports broadcaster Dillon Welch, racing for CB Industries; and Chase Johnson, driving the Heffner Racing Enterprises No. 72.

A slight schedule change sees hot laps kicking off one hour earlier than Monday’s program, with action at Tulsa Expo Raceway slated to begin at 4 p.m. CT Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday’s program also includes the 13th Vacuworx Invitational Race of Champions. The entry list for that 25-lap all-star event can be found here.
