CONCORD, N.C. – World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series officials have announced the cancellation of two events scheduled for this weekend.
The series was scheduled to race at Dixie Speedway in Georgia on Friday and the Talladega Short Track in Alabama on Saturday. Both races have been canceled due to frigid temperatures and excessive rain.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will return to action on Feb. 19 at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Miss., and Feb. 20 at The Rev in Monroe, La.
