FORT WORTH, Texas – Conor Daly will return to Carlin’s NTT IndyCar Series program for this weekend’s doubleheader at Texas Motor Speedway.
This marks the third-straight season Daly has shared driving duties of the Carlin No. 59. Max Chilton will continue to drive the No. 59 entry on road courses and will return to the team for the GMR Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in mid-May.
Daly has contested the first two races of the season for Ed Carpenter Racing.
“Obviously, I’m very excited and thankful to be back with Carlin for this weekend,” said Daly. “It’s a package with which we’ve accomplished a lot together in a short amount of time and I’m excited to get back to work with the guys. I appreciate the opportunity and thank Chily and Trevor for the support and entrusting me with the car once again and also Power Plus! for joining me this weekend.”
Daly enjoyed several highlights with the team last season, including earning his first P1 Award after claiming the pole in the first race of last year’s doubleheader at Iowa Speedway.
“We’re very pleased to have Conor back with the team, we’ve enjoyed some successful races together in the past and we’re aiming to continue where we left off with our oval form,” said team owner Grahame Chilton.
Daly will race with the backing of his personal sponsor, Power Plus! this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.
