New Zealand win toss, bowl vs England

New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bowl first in the third ODI against England in Leicester.

England will rest Nat Sciver, meaning allrounder Katherine Brunt returns after taking a break during the second match.

Danni Wyatt holds her place after her match-saving 63 not out in the second ODI at Worcester, which gave England a 2-0 lead. She moves up one spot to No.6 as a result of Brunt's return. Likewise, off-spinner Charlie Dean, who took four wickets in that match, which was only her second international appearance, remains part of the home side.

Molly Penfold, the 20-year-old seamer, will make her debut in a match that is must-win for New Zealand if they are to keep the series alive with two more to play after this. Jess Kerr makes way, while Hayley Jensen comes in for Hannah Rowe.

Sophie Devine, the New Zealand captain, said she had full confidence in playing the match despite a security scare the previous day.

"The ECB security team certainly looked after us well we got some clear information and waited for the experts to do their jobs," Devine said. "We're just going to focus on playing this game."

Heather Knight, her opposite number, was equally keen to focus on the match after her side's historic tour to Pakistan, planned for next month, was called off by the ECB on Monday.

"It's out of our hands, just one of those things I don't want to comment on too much," Knight said.
