Everton had a penalty award overturned and red card for Mason Holgate awarded by VAR as they drew 0-0 with Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park on Sunday in Antonio Conte's first match back in the Premier League.
Spurs announced the appointment of Conte on Tuesday and his first match in charge was the Europa Conference League victory over Vitesse.

But the Italian, who won the Premier League with Chelsea in 2016-17, failed to kick on in a scrappy game with few chances.
The first talking point came midway through the second half. Richarlison went through on goal and was clipped by Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with referee Chris Kavanagh pointing to the spot only for the VAR to overturn the decision -- much to the frustration of the home crowd.
Holgate, who was only introduced in the 82nd minute, was initially given a yellow card for a tackle on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg before a look at the VAR monitor saw the decision turned a red.
A draw means Spurs are winless in their last four matches, while Everton are now five games without a victory.
