Newly-crowned champion Simona Halep reflects on her journey to the 2019 Wimbledon Ladies' Singles title and discusses the changes she's made to help her become a stronger competitor. Halep admits she never expected to defeat Serena Williams 6-2, 6-2 in less than one hour in the final, but says that she "gave 100% on every shot and knew that she had a chance to win." She also compares winning Wimbledon to the feeling she had after winning her first Grand Slam at the French Open in 2018.
