LeBron James and Anthony Davis will both be listed as doubtful for the game Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers coach Frank Vogel said after practice Monday.
Davis went through a full live practice for the first time since suffering a right mid-foot sprain Feb. 16 against the Utah Jazz.
James did not participate in practice, Vogel said. The Lakers star stayed back at the hotel to undergo treatment on the left ankle sprain he sustained in L.A.'s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
Vogel said the timing of Davis readying for a return just as James is dealing with another injury that could keep him out of the lineup fits with the "snakebit" nature of the Lakers' season.
L.A. is No. 10 in the Western Conference standings, holding a one-game lead over the San Antonio Spurs for the final play-in tournament spot with eight games left.
