Unopposed Anthony Moore has been elected unanimously President of ITTF-Oceania at the Continental Federation’s Annual General Meeting.

He succeeds Graeme Ireland, who acted as Interim President following the passing of Antony Ho in July 2021.

“I am deeply honoured and humbled to be elected ITTF Oceania President this morning. I aim to continue the great work of our late former President Anthony Ho, as from today I lead the ITTF Oceania Management Committee and represent the region.

We have a golden decade ahead of us in Oceania with a Commonwealth Games, an Olympic Games and a Paralympic Games being held in one of our Member Associations, Australia.

To this end, working closely with the ITTF, I want to pursue an ambitious agenda to develop a major events strategy that raises our game for all associated with Oceania Table Tennis.” Anthony Moore

A career of over 25 years, Moore is one of the leading sports administrators in Australia.

Currently he owns a consultancy business and previously held roles as the CEO of Basketball Australia and General Manager level roles at Sport Australia, St. Kilda Football Club, Richmond Football Club, SPARQ Training, Cricket Australia and NBA Australasia.

Also, Moore was received an IOC Scholarship, where he obtained an Executive Masters in Sport Organisation Management.

Founded in 1977, ITTF-Oceania is recognised as the continental federation of the Oceania region to the International Table Tennis Federation. It represents 24 member associations, having grown from an initial seven.

ITTF-Oceania is the largest regional sport federation in Oceania.
