BAKERSFIELD, Calif. SPEARS CARS Tour West officials announced Wednesday that Kevin Harvick will join the Super Late Model field during the series highly anticipated season opener on Jan. 25 at Kevin Harvicks Kern Raceway.

The event marks the official start of the season featuring the Limited Pro Late Models, previously known as Pro Late Models, the competitive Super Late Model division and the MMI Legends Tour West presented by Franks Radio. Additionally, the ARCA Menards Series West will kick off its season during the event as well.

This is a tremendous opportunity for our competitors to compete alongside Kevin Harvick and demonstrate their abilities on a major stage, said Tim Huddleston, co-owner of the SPEARS CARS Tour West. Weve built this series to provide racers with the platform they deserve, and the season opener is a chance to show the strength of West Coast motorsports.

Harvicks participation not only highlights his excitement for the Super Late Model division, it also demonstrates his commitment to grassroots racing and supporting the Bakersfield community.
