SPARTA, Ky. – Noah Gragson’s luck of the draw continued in earnest Wednesday evening.
Gragson was awarded his fourth pole start of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season via a random draw and will lead the field to green for Thursday night’s Shady Rays 200 at Kentucky Speedway.
Ross Chastain will share the front row with Gragson for the 200-mile affair, with Jeb Burton and Michael Annett making up row two. Harrison Burton rolls off fifth.
Brandon Jones, Chase Briscoe, Ryan Sieg, Justin Haley and Justin Allgaier make up the balance of the top 10 starters.
Notably, the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota of Riley Herbst starts 23rd after the draw.
The event is the first of two races for the Xfinity Series field at Kentucky this weekend. Friday’s Alsco 300 will follow and see the top 15 finishers from Thursday night inverted to set that race’s starting grid.
Starting positions 1-12 in the Thursday lineup were randomly drawn from the first 12 teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up Eligibility. Positions 13-24 and positions 25-36 were determined the same way.
Any other eligible teams were assigned positions 37-40 based on their order of eligibility.
The Shady Rays 200 airs live at 8 p.m. ET Thursday night on FS1, the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
