TULSA, Okla. – With just under three weeks until opening night, the entry list for the 35th running of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals has ballooned to a whopping 286 cars.

Inching closer to the 300-entry benchmark and also closing in on last year’s final car count of 343, the latest roster includes all 10 Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports cars – led by two-time Chili Bowl champion Rico Abreu.

Defending Chili Bowl winner Kyle Larson is entered in his No. 01, as are six cars from the rebranded CB Industries squad led by Chad Boat. Five drivers – Dillon Welch, Gio Scelzi, Christopher Bell, Aaron Reutzel and reigning USAC national midget champion Chris Windom – are currently named to Boat’s team.

Chase Elliott, the recently-crowned NASCAR Cup Series champion, has been added in the Paul May and DiaEdge Racing-entered No. 9e.

Other active NASCAR names on the latest Chili Bowl entry list include Chase Briscoe, Cody Ware, Ryan Ellis and past NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Brett Moffitt, who is set to make his Chili Bowl driving debut in a second entry for John Mitchell’s Bundy Built Motorsports team.

World of Outlaws sprint car champions Brad Sweet and Daryn Pittman lead the sprint car contingent that will tackle the 35th Chili Bowl, with other Outlaw notables including David Gravel and Parker Price-Miller. Five-time ASCS sprint car titlist Sam Hafertepe Jr. will drive his own No. 15 in Tulsa.

The most decorated driver in Chili Bowl history, five-time event winner Sammy Swindell, was on the initial entry list released when the first 100 entries were revealed on Dec. 9. He’ll pilot the Swindell Motorsports No. 1 in search of a record-extending sixth Golden Driller trophy.

Of the 286 entries currently filed, 21 remain with drivers to be announced, including four of the five Clauson-Marshall Racing cars. Tyler Courtney was confirmed to the No. 7c on Monday.
